Christopher Martello started his Federal Law Enforcement career in 1996, with the U.S. Border Patrol in San Diego, CA. From 2001-2002, he served as an Immigration Inspector in Chicago, IL.
In 2002, Christopher moved to Buffalo, NY, where he began serving as a Criminal Investigator with the, then, U.S. Customs Service, which was merged into Homeland Security Investigations after the creation of the Department of Homeland Security in 2003. Since then Special Agent Christopher Martello has conducted investigations in the following program areas: narcotics, worksite enforcement, human trafficking/smuggling, national security, financial, and, most recently, commercial fraud/intellectual property rights violations.
